Come design a cotton bandana and fabric patches using clay as a resist in an indigo vat. The clay will act as a resist to the indigo leaving white where the clay is applied and the rest of the fabric blue. We will apply the paste using blocks, paintbrushes and stencils. A fun technique that only works with indigo. The class will be at Water Bear Clay Studio in the Burton neighborhood of Vashon Island.
